!!!!The Man of the Hour!!!!
To start the blog right, lets begin with the man of the hour, T-Pain/Teddy Pain/Teddy Penderazdoun, the man who pretty much already did everything possible in the industry. Teddy Pain had his first single back in 2000 while he was part of a group called "Nappy Headz", the song was called "Time To Make Love" ft Sarge, and it was released on 100.7 The Beat, on the same night the song was played three times, after that the song was added to the radio's playlist. And that was just the beginning of Pain's career, after recording a remix to Akon's "Locked up", called "Fucked Up", Akon heard the song, and immediately signed T-Pain to Konvict Muzik, and from there we all know what he became to be. On December 6th, 2005 Teddy released his first album called Rappa Turnt Sanga, and the world had the chance to see what else T-Pain could do. The album went to sell 500,000 units(Gold) according to RIAA, not bad for someone's first album huh. The big hit "I'm Sprung" was being played everywhere. With the used of auto-tuned Pain was renovating the game, and the creator of Hard and B, was ready to take over. On June 5, 2007, T-pain released his long waited sophomore album called, Epiphany, with the big hit "Buy U a Drank" ft Yung Joc, it became Pain's first single to top the charts. In two weeks in late 2007, T-Pain already had four top ten single on Billboard Hot 100 chart. In 2008 Pain won his first Grammy, in a colabo with Kany West called "Good Life". T-Pain was on his way to be know as the "Hook Man", if you wanted to have a hit you needed Pain in your record, and after 11 number ones who wouldn't agree. On September 8th, 2008, Pain released his first mixtape called Pr33 Ringz, the mixtape received good reviews and it gave that "get ready" feeling for Pain's next album "Thr33 Ringz" which was released on November 11, 2008 with "Can't believe it" ft Lil Wayne as it's first single. T-pain was making it clear that he was here to stay and that the game was a Circus and he was the Ring Leader. After a longggg 3 years Pain finally released his fourth album called RevolveR, and before that PreRevolver mixtape was released giving the fans a little taste of what was coming. An Nappy Boy All Star mixtape was also released, where all the member of the Nappy Boy family came together to sing/rap on an album full of epic tracks.
